Child Nutrition – Cashier

 

TITLE: CASHIER

QUALIFICATIONS: 

 

  1. High School diploma
  2. Able to work with diversity of individuals
  3. Able to maintain records and reports
  4. Must pass background check.

 

REPORTS TO: Kitchen Manager and Director of Child Nutrition

 

PRIMARY FUNCTION: 

To administer school lunch accounts.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

 

  1. Able to lift 30 pounds.

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  1. Accurately enters and runs reports of meals, milk and account deposits on food service software.
  2. Maintains HAACP and sanitation practices and records.
  3. Follows District policies
  4. Other duties as assigned.

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

The Board shall offer a letter of agreement with wages and benefits to be determined by the board as delineated in the Classified Employee Handbook.

 

EVALUATION PROCEDURE:

 

This position is responsible to the Director of Child Nutrition and the performance of this position will be evaluated by the Director of Child Nutrition.
