TITLE: Administration Office Receptionist
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work with a variety of individuals.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Strong technology skills.
- Clerical and typing skills with emphasis on accuracy.
- Ability to maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality regarding district personnel and administrative business.
REPORTS TO: Director of Human Resources
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Perform a variety of clerical and secretarial functions at the Administration Office front desk.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Normal duties are sedentary at the desk; bending, stretching; up and down in the office; mobility around the office; and the ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and assist visitors to the administration office.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate staff member they are seeking to meet with.
- Direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate person.
- Assist with new employee and volunteer background checks through fingerprint scanning.
- General office duties include sorting, filing, scanning, copying, binding, and organizing.
- Enter data and help prepare monthly/quarterly reports.
- Process data as needed through online platforms.
- Follow-up on past due payments.
- Assist in distributing district communications.
- Assist other Administration Office staff members with miscellaneous projects as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Regular attendance.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
The work agreement will consist of 216 days per school year within the hours of 12:30pm to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday, and 12:30pm to 4:00pm on Fridays (19.5 hours per week).
EVALUATION PROCEDURE:
This position is responsible to the Director of Human Resources; the performance of this position will be evaluated yearly by them.
